WHAT IS OUR EXPERIENCE?

As an Edinburgh-based video production company, the Fringe is our home turf and absolute specialty. Having filmed over 300 festival performances to date, we understand the highly demanding ecosystem of August better than anyone. From capturing major star acts like Nina Conti, Reuben Kaye, Colin Cloud, Wankernomics, and Randy Feltface, to filming critically acclaimed runs like Rift (Fringe First Award) and Natalie Palamides’ Weer in 2024 (The Stage Awards), our team brings broadcast-level professionalism to every shoot. Because this is our city, we know the venues inside out.
We have extensive experience across all major providers, including Assembly, Pleasance, Underbelly, Gilded Balloon, theSpace, Summerhall, Greenside Venues, ZOO Venues, C Arts, The Stand Comedy Club, Monkey Barrel Comedy, Traverse Theatre, Paradise Green, Just the Tonic, and more. Whether your show is in a grand hall or an intimate blackbox, we know the spatial and acoustic realities of these spaces. We are intimately familiar with notoriously quick turnaround times, executing rapid load-ins and load-outs without adding to your pre-show stress. Because Fringe spaces are tight and audience seating is at a premium, we design our camera setups to be as compact and unobtrusive as possible. We never block sightlines, and our crew dresses in blacks, moving silently to ensure the audience is never distracted. Furthermore, we hold full Public Liability Insurance, instantly meeting the compliance requirements of all venue management teams.
How do we ensure quality?

We never treat a performance as just another booking. We take the time to genuinely understand your show before the cameras roll, researching your performance in advance and discussing your vision to ensure we capture specific lighting cues, technicalities, and crucial moments perfectly. We run strict
fail-safes on every shoot, including backup audio feeds and dual recording cameras, guaranteeing your performance is safely captured with a low risk of data loss.
Festival lighting can often be harsh or heavily colour-saturated, but our top-tier equipment and operators excel in these
low-light environments.
Live theatre only happens once, so we treat your performance with absolute technical rigor.
Because stand-up requires a vastly different approach than high-energy cabaret or an ensemble sketch show, we offer multi-genre adaptability.
We provide multiple shooting styles to suit your needs: keeping cameras completely static for clean archival records, utilising our expertly trained operators to track fast-paced stage movement, or deploying roaming cameras for highly dynamic coverage. Crucially, our operators aren't just technicians, they understand live performance. They comprehend comedic timing and theatre pacing, ensuring they perfectly capture the nuanced reactions and punchlines that make your show unique.
We know how overwhelming the festival buildup and execution can be, which is why we prioritize pro-active communication. From the moment you book, we keep in touch before you even arrive in Edinburgh, maintain clear contact during the chaos of the Fringe, and provide consistent updates long after the festival ends regarding any post-production work.
